In the heart of the operating rooms, where life and death intersect in critical moments, the doctors of our 39th medical mission continue to carry out their humanitarian duty with unwavering dedication and exceptional skill—despite the severe shortage of medical supplies and resources.
At the Eye Surgery Hospital, Dr. Youssef Helmi, a retinal surgery specialist, works tirelessly to restore vision to those who lost it under harsh conditions. Meanwhile, at Al-Shifa Medical Complex, Dr. Islam, an emergency medicine specialist, faces some of the most difficult moments, receiving and treating critical cases with the limited tools available.
Here—where nothing resembles a conventional operating room—our doctors stand on the front lines of saving lives, in one of the most challenging medical environments in the world.

في قلب غرف العمليات، حيث تتقاطع الحياة والموت في لحظات مصيرية، يواصل أطباء بعثتنا الطبية التاسعة والثلاثون أداء رسالتهم الإنسانية بكل تفانٍ ومهارة، متحدّين نقص الموارد الطبية والإمكانات المتاحة.
في مشفى العيون الجراحي، يعمل الطبيب يوسف حلمي، اختصاصي جراحة الشبكية، على استعادة البصر لمن فقدوه في ظل ظروف قاسية.
وفي مجمّع الشفاء الطبي، يواجه الطبيب إسلام، اختصاصي طب الطوارئ، أصعب اللحظات في استقبال الحالات الحرجة ومعالجتها بأقصى ما تسمح به الأدوات المتوفرة.
