Hadramout Schools Need Immediate Support

In the Meifa School Complex in Al-Safal, Hadramout Governorate, more than 2,000 students face a learning environment that lacks the most basic educational essentials.

Teacher shortages, the absence of transportation for boys, no access to drinking water, deteriorating classrooms, broken desks, and unshaded school yards—all contribute to daily challenges that limit students’ ability to learn safely and effectively. Computer labs have remained inactive for years due to the lack of electricity, preventing students from accessing essential modern skills. This complex, with all three of its schools, urgently needs support to restore a safe, functional, and dignified learning environment.

في مجمّع ميفع التعليمي في منطقة السفال بمحافظة حضرموت، يواجه أكثر من ألفي طالب وطالبة بيئة مدرسية تفتقر إلى أبسط مقوّمات التعليم.

نقص الكادر التعليمي، غياب وسائل النقل للطلاب، انعدام مياه الشرب، تدهور البنية المدرسية، المقاعد المتهالكة، والساحات غير المظلّلة… جميعها تحديات تُثقل حياة الطلاب ومعلميهم يومًا بعد يوم. كما تتوقف مختبرات الحسوب منذ سنوات بسبب غياب الكهرباء، مما يحدّ من قدرة المدارس على تقديم تعليم متكامل وحديث. هذا المجمع، بكل مدارسه الثلاث، يحتاج تدخلًا عاجلًا يعيد له القدرة على خدمة طلابه بكرامة واستقرار.
