Strategic Visit to Enhance Opportunities for Persons With Special Needs

As part of efforts to promote sustainable economic empowerment, a delegation from Rahma Worldwide Organization, headed by Dr. Shadi Zaza, conducted an official field visit to the Productive Families Center affiliated with the Office of Social Affairs and Labor, in the presence of the Director General of the Office, Mr. Abdulhakim Al-Qaisi, and Ms. Socotra Al-Baqma, Director of the Productive Families Center.
The visit aimed to review the organization’s interventions in supporting self-reliance and economic empowerment programs, which included providing sewing machines for weaving traditional ma‘awiz, sewing machines dedicated to empowering Yemeni women, as well as computers to support training, qualification, and capacity-building programs within the center.
At the conclusion of the visit, Rahma Worldwide Organization was honored in recognition of its humanitarian efforts and its affective contributions to supporting productive families and enhancing sustainable livelihoods.

في إطار تعزيز التمكين الاقتصادي المستدام، نفّذ وفد منظمة رحمة حول العالم، برئاسة الدكتور شادي ظاظا، زيارة ميدانية رسمية إلى مركز الأسر المنتجة التابع لمكتب الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل، بحضور مدير عام المكتب الأستاذ عبدالحكيم القيسي، والأستاذة سقطرى البقماء، مديرة المركز.
وتهدف الزيارة إلى الاطلاع على تدخلات المنظمة في دعم التمكين الذاتي والاقتصادي، من خلال توفير مكائن خياطة لحياكة المعاوز، ومكائن خياطة لتمكين المرأة اليمنية، إضافة إلى أجهزة حاسوب لدعم برامج التدريب وبناء القدرات داخل المركز.
وفي ختام الزيارة، تم تكريم منظمة رحمة حول العالم تقديرًا لجهودها الإنسانية ودورها الفاعل في دعم الأسر المنتجة وتعزيز سبل العيش المستدامة.
