In Damascus, Eid was not loud this year. It arrived gently on faces that have learned patience more than celebration.
As part of the “Qurbani Rahma 2026” project, Rahma Worldwide carried out its Qurbani initiative in Damascus, delivering meat to vulnerable families, orphans, and families of martyrs.
396 beneficiaries received their share of the sacrifice, each carrying a long story of waiting, with eyes that asked for little more than a moment of reassurance.
It was more than a distribution of meat…
It was a brief moment when the day felt different, as Eid quietly found its way into homes that had almost stopped expecting joy.
Because of your support, Eid touched the lives of 396 people like a quiet message saying:
There is still something worth hoping for.

في دمشق… لم يكن العيد صاخبًا هذا العام، بل مرّ بهدوءٍ على وجوهٍ اعتادت الصبر أكثر مما اعتادت الفرح.
ضمن مشروع "أضاحينا رحمة 2026"، نفّذت منظمة رحمة حول العالم مشروع الأضاحي في دمشق، لتصل اللحوم إلى العائلات المستحقة، والأيتام، وأسر الشهداء.
396 مستفيدًا استقبلوا حصص الأضاحي، ولكلٍّ منهم حكاية طويلة مع الانتظار، وعيون لا تطلب الكثير سوى لحظة طمأنينة.
لم يكن المشهد مجرد توزيعٍ للحوم…
بل لحظة قصيرة تغيّر فيها شكل اليوم، حين دخل العيد إلى بيوتٍ ظنّت أن الفرح أصبح بعيدًا.
بفضل كرمكم… مرّ العيد على 396 إنسانًا كرسالةٍ هادئة تقول:
ما زال هناك ما يستحق الأمل.
