The Day Joy Knocked on an Orphan’s Door

Some children aren’t waiting for a new toy or a fun trip; they’re simply waiting for a reminder that they haven’t been forgotten. 

In Hadramout, Yemen, 30 orphaned children benefited from the Orphan Sponsorship Program implemented by Rahma Worldwide. More than financial assistance, the program delivered a simple but meaningful message: there are people who still remember them. It also brought hope to families who work tirelessly every day to provide for their children’s basic needs.

The program also included a special recreational day filled with laughter, games, and joyful moments. For a little while, the children were able to set aside their worries, play freely, and reconnect with the simple joys of childhood.

Sometimes, a child doesn’t need much to feel happy. They simply need to know that someone cares, shares in their joy, and reminds them that they are not alone.

Because of your generosity, more than smiles were created. Precious memories were made, and new hope found its way into the hearts of children and the families who love them.

بعض الأطفال لا ينتظرون لعبةً جديدة أو رحلةً ممتعة... بل ينتظرون من يطرق بابهم ليخبرهم أنهم لم يُنسَوا. 

في حضرموت باليمن، استفاد 30 يتيمًا ويتيمة من مشروع كفالات الأيتام الذي تنفذه منظمة رحمة حول العالم، حاملةً لهم أكثر من مجرد دعمٍ مادي؛ بل رسالةً بسيطة مفادها أن هناك من ما زال يتذكرهم، وأملًا لأسرٍ تكافح كل يوم لتؤمّن لأبنائها احتياجاتهم الأساسية.

وخلال اليوم الترفيهي، علت الضحكات، وانطلق الأطفال في اللعب بقلوبٍ أخف، وكأنهم يستعيدون جزءًا من طفولتهم التي أثقلتها الظروف.

فأحيانًا... لا يحتاج الطفل الكثير ليشعر بالسعادة، بل يحتاج أن يعلم أن هناك من يفرح لفرحه، ويهتم لأمره، ويمنحه شعورًا دافئًا بأنه ليس وحده.

وبعطائكم، لم تُصنع ابتساماتٌ عابرة فحسب، بل صُنعت لحظاتٌ جميلة في ذاكرة طفل، وزرع أملٌ جديد في قلب أسرة.
