From Daraya, a city that endured displacement and absence, we share with you today the story of a home brought back to life.
As part of Rahma Worldwide’s home rehabilitation and restoration projects launched after the liberation of Syria, the rehabilitation of this house has been completed, allowing its owners to return after being forced to leave it many years ago.
The photos may appear to be nothing more than a before-and-after comparison, but they tell a deeper story: a family living far from home, years of waiting, and a dream that endured despite everything.
Today, as the doors of this home open once again, a story that had long been suspended begins to continue, and the dream of return moves one step closer to becoming reality.

من داريا، المدينة التي عرفت التهجير والغياب، نشارككم اليوم قصة منزلٍ عاد إلى الحياة.
ضمن مشاريع ترميم وتأهيل المنازل التي أطلقتها رحمة حول العالم بعد تحرير سوريا، تم الانتهاء من إعادة تأهيل هذا المنزل ليعود إلى أصحابه الذين اضطروا إلى مغادرته منذ سنوات طويلة.
قد تبدو الصور وكأنها مجرد مقارنة بين قبلٍ وبعد، لكنها في الحقيقة تحكي عن عائلةٍ عاشت بعيداً عن بيتها، وعن انتظارٍ امتد لسنوات، وعن حلمٍ ظل قائماً رغم كل شيء.
واليوم، بينما تُفتح أبواب هذا المنزل من جديد، تعود معه حكايةٌ كانت معلّقة، ويقترب حلم العودة خطوةً أخرى من أن يصبح واقعاً.
