Yazan was only five years old when he left home on what seemed like an ordinary day. By the time it was over, he carried memories no child should ever have to bear.

For five days, he was alone, unable to understand why his mother no longer answered his calls or why his brother never opened his eyes again. He was too young to understand death, yet not too young to live with its lasting impact.

A part of him remained in that moment, but his story did not.

As Yazan grew older, Rahma Worldwide became part of a new chapter in his life. 

The organization believes that no child should be defined by what they have lost, but by what they can become when someone believes in them and stands beside them.

During "Together We Create Hope," Yazan stood before the audience and shared his story in his own words, a story of profound loss, remarkable resilience, and the life-changing difference that one act of compassion can make in a child's life.

كان يزن في الخامسة من عمره عندما خرج من منزله في يومٍ ظنّه عاديًا… لكنه عاد يحمل ذاكرةً لا ينبغي لأي طفلٍ أن يحملها.

قضى خمسة أيام وحيدًا، لا يفهم لماذا لم تعد والدته تستجيب لندائه، ولا لماذا لم يعد أخوه يفتح عينيه. كان صغيرًا على أن يفهم معنى الموت، لكنه لم يكن صغيرًا على أن يعيش أثره.

ورغم أن جزءًا منه بقي عالقًا في تلك اللحظة، فإن قصته لم تتوقف هناك.

كبر يزن، وكانت منظمة رحمة حول العالم جزءًا من بدايةٍ جديدة في حياته، إيمانًا بأن الطفل لا يُعرَّف بما فقده، بل بما يستطيع أن يصبح عليه عندما يجد من يؤمن به ويقف إلى جانبه.
