Uncle Abu Moayad has lived with multiple sclerosis for 30 years. The disease has severely affected his mobility, leaving him unable to walk or move on his own and confined to his bed for the past 20 years.
He and his wife have no children and live in a relative’s home, facing difficult health and financial circumstances. As his condition worsened and their ability to meet his needs became increasingly limited, even basic medical and daily necessities became a heavy burden.
After assessing the family’s needs, Rahma Worldwide, in partnership with JIGSAW, committed to covering Uncle Abu Moayad’s essential needs for six months, providing gauze, disinfectants, medications, essential food supplies, and other necessities required for his daily care.
This was more than a delivery of supplies.
It was a reminder to Uncle Abu Moayad and his wife that they are not alone in facing this illness.
Through your support and generosity, compassion can reach those facing the daily burden of illness and become a source of strength when they need it most.

"من 20 سنة وهو حبيس الفراش…"
يعاني العم أبو مؤيد من التصلب اللويحي منذ 30 عامًا، وقد حدّ المرض بشكل كبير من قدرته على الحركة، ليبقى ملازمًا للفراش منذ 20 عامًا.
هو وزوجته بلا أطفال، ويعيشان في منزل أحد أقاربهما، في ظل ظروف صحية واقتصادية صعبة. ومع تدهور حالته الصحية ومحدودية قدرتهما على تأمين احتياجاته، أصبحت أبسط المستلزمات الطبية واليومية عبئًا كبيرًا عليهما.
بعد تقييم احتياجات الأسرة، تكفلت منظمة رحمة حول العالم، بالشراكة مع JIGSAW، بتغطية احتياجات العم أبو مؤيد الأساسية لمدة ستة أشهر، حيث تم توفير الشاش والمعقمات والأدوية، إلى جانب المواد الغذائية الأساسية وغيرها من المستلزمات التي يحتاجها في رعايته اليومية.
ولم تكن هذه المساعدة مجرد مواد تصل إلى المنزل…
بل كانت رسالة للعم أبو مؤيد وزوجته بأنهما ليسا وحدهما في مواجهة المرض.
