The Tents Were Small - Their Dreams Were Not

In the Gaza Strip, their books may not have been neatly arranged. Their study spaces were far from quiet. And their days looked nothing like those of other students.

But their dreams were clear.

Inside displacement tents, under the summer heat, and amid the hardships of daily life, high school students studied for their exams while holding on to the moment they hoped to hear one simple word:

“You passed.”

And then it came.

They succeeded, and with them, every hour they spent studying through exhaustion, every page they turned in circumstances that were anything but easy.

In Gaza, Rahma Worldwide has not only been present in times of need. It was there to share in a moment they had waited so long to experience.

Rahma joined a number of graduating students and their families in celebrating their success, providing food parcels to ease some of the burdens of daily life and add another moment of joy to a hard-earned achievement.

Some moments do not require much. Sometimes, all you need is someone standing beside you when your day of joy finally arrives.

Congratulations to every successful graduate. May their dreams always be bigger than everything they have been through.

في قطاع غزة ربما لم تكن كتبهم مرتبة، ولا أماكن دراستهم هادئة، ولا أيامهم تشبه أيام الطلاب الآخرين.

لكن أحلامهم كانت واضحة.

في خيام النزوح، وتحت حرارة الصيف، وبين قسوة الحياة اليومية، جلس طلاب الثانوية العامة يراجعون دروسهم ويحلمون بلحظة يسمعون فيها كلمة واحدة:

نجحت.

وجاءت الكلمة.

نجحوا، ونجحت معهم كل ساعة دراسة قاوموا فيها التعب، وكل صفحة قرؤوها وسط ظروف لم تكن سهلة.

وفي غزة، لم تكتفِ منظمة رحمة حول العالم بأن تكون حاضرة في أوقات الاحتياج، بل كانت حاضرة أيضًا لتشاركهم لحظةً طال انتظارها.

شاركت رحمة عددًا من الطلبة الناجحين وعائلاتهم فرحة النجاح، وقدمت لهم طرودًا غذائية تخفف عنهم بعض أعباء الأيام، وتضيف إلى فرحة الإنجاز فرحةً أخرى.

فبعض اللحظات لا تحتاج الكثير… تحتاج فقط أن تجد من يقف إلى جانبك عندما يأتي يوم فرحك.

مبارك للناجحين، ولتبقَ أحلامهم أكبر من كل ما مرّ بهم.
