When a skill becomes the beginning of a new path... 💙
In Aleppo, Umm Mohammed has taken a new step towards self-reliance by joining a women’s hairdressing training programme at the Tamkeen Centre for Training, Rehabilitation, and Capacity Building. She is working to gain a profession that can help her support her four children and build a sustainable source of income.
She is joined by 20 other trainees, who are learning women’s hairdressing skills with the aim of gaining a profession that can help them enter the workforce and build more sustainable sources of income.
For Umm Mohammed, the goal goes beyond learning a new skill. She hopes to establish her own business and turn what she is learning today into a real opportunity for a more stable future for herself and her family.
Because when a woman has a skill, she has an opportunity to build her own path forward. 💙

حين تصبح المهارة بداية لطريق جديد... 💙
في حلب، بدأت أم محمد خطوة جديدة نحو الاعتماد على نفسها، فالتحقت بتدريب الكوافيرة النسائية في مركز تمكين للتدريب والتأهيل وبناء القدرات، ساعيةً إلى اكتساب مهنة تساعدها على إعالة أطفالها الأربعة وبناء مصدر دخل مستدام.
وتشاركها هذه الرحلة 20 متدربة، يتعلمن مهارات الكوافيرة النسائية بهدف اكتساب مهنة يمكن أن تساعدهن على دخول سوق العمل وبناء مصادر دخل أكثر استدامة.
بالنسبة لأم محمد، لا يتوقف الهدف عند تعلم مهارة جديدة، بل يمتد إلى حلم إنشاء مشروعها الخاص، وتحويل ما تتعلمه اليوم إلى فرصة حقيقية لمستقبل أكثر استقرارًا لها ولأسرتها.
فحين تمتلك المرأة مهارة، فإنها تمتلك فرصة لتصنع طريقها بنفسها. 💙
