From a closed space to a place ready for learning and livelihoods.
At the Al-Mansoura Vocational and Industrial Institute in Aden, Rahma Worldwide turned donor generosity into the rehabilitation and full equipping of the sewing and embroidery training room, from electrical work and wiring to fans, air conditioning, lighting, 12 modern sewing and embroidery machines, and essential training supplies. The room now gives women and girls, especially those from families facing the greatest economic hardship and engaged in home-based production, the opportunity to gain practical skills that can lead to work, income, and greater independence, including from home when working outside is not possible.
The opening was attended by Hani Mohammed Al-Yazidi, Director General of Al-Mansoura District, Abdulrahim Abdulkarim Al-Jawi, Director General of the Technical Education and Vocational Training Office in Aden Governorate, and Engineer Jihad Matooq, Director of the Al-Mansoura Vocational and Industrial Institute, who highlighted the importance of vocational education, training, and employment opportunities.

في المعهد المهني الصناعي بالمنصورة – عدن، حوّلت رحمة حول العالم عطاءكم إلى إعادة تأهيل وتجهيز قاعة الخياطة والتطريز؛ من الكهرباء والتسليك، والمراوح والمكيفات والإضاءة، إلى 12 ماكينة خياطة وتطريز حديثة وكامل مستلزمات التدريب. اليوم، تتيح القاعة للنساء والفتيات، خصوصًا من الأسر الأشد احتياجًا والأسر المنتجة، اكتساب مهارات يمكن أن تتحول إلى عمل ودخل واستقلال أكبر، بما في ذلك العمل من المنزل لمن لا تسمح ظروفهن بالعمل خارجه.
وشارك في افتتاح المشروع هاني محمد اليزيدي، مدير عام مديرية المنصورة، وعبدالرحيم عبدالكريم الجاوي، مدير عام مكتب التعليم الفني والتدريب المهني بمحافظة عدن، والمهندس جهاد معتوق، مدير المعهد المهني الصناعي بالمنصورة، مؤكدين أهمية دعم التعليم الفني وتوسيع فرص التدريب والعمل.
