What begins with a sewing machine can open a path to opportunity.

At the Al-Kawd Vocational Institute in Abyan Governorate, the sewing and tailoring workshop has been equipped with 12 modern sewing machines, along with the tools, accessories, and essential supplies needed for training.

Through Rahma Worldwide for Relief and Development, your support is helping create a stronger learning environment where girls can build practical skills, prepare for the workforce, and move toward greater economic independence.

The opening brought together Mr.Mahdi Mohammed Al-Hamed, Secretary-General of the Local Council of Abyan Governorate, Engineer Mahdi Al-Juhaini, Director General of the Technical Education and Vocational Training Office in Abyan, and Munif, Rahma Worldwide’s coordinator, highlighting the shared commitment to vocational education and opportunities for girls.

في معهد الكود المهني بمحافظة أبين، جُهّز معمل الخياطة والتفصيل بـ12 ماكينة خياطة حديثة، إلى جانب الأدوات والملحقات والمستلزمات الأساسية اللازمة للتدريب.

ومن خلال رحمة حول العالم للإغاثة والتنمية، أسهم عطاؤكم في توفير بيئةٍ تدريبية أفضل تساعد الفتيات على اكتساب مهارات عملية، والاستعداد للعمل، والمضي نحو استقلال اقتصادي أكبر.

وشهد الافتتاح أستاذ مهدي محمد الحامد، الأمين العام للمجلس المحلي بمحافظة أبين، والمهندس مهدي الجحيني، مدير عام مكتب التعليم الفني والتدريب المهني بمحافظة أبين، ومنيف، منسق رحمة حول العالم، في تأكيدٍ على أهمية التعليم الفني وتوسيع الفرص أمام الفتيات.
