From a Cause to Memory… From Memory to Impact.

Where did the idea behind Transit | Art & Humanitarian Work begin?

For Dr. Shadi Zazza, it began with an urgent need to document the Syrian cause, preserve its story, and bring it to international platforms, at a time when people were growing weary of the international silence surrounding the suffering and bloodshed endured by the Syrian people.

That vision brought two different fields together: humanitarian action and art. Through a partnership between Dr. Zazza, President of Rahma Worldwide, and filmmaker Sam Qadi, the project became more than a single initiative, it became the beginning of a broader vision for future collaboration and impact.

And the vision does not end with this experience. New projects are already taking shape, with a commitment to developing this work and passing its knowledge and experience on to the next generation in Syria through learning, mentorship, and training.

Because what we document today is more than a moment in time…

It is history worth preserving, telling, and carrying forward.

من القضية إلى الذاكرة… ومن الذاكرة إلى الأثر.

من أين بدأت فكرة «ترانزيت | الفن والعمل الإنساني»؟

بالنسبة إلى الدكتور شادي ظاظا، بدأت من حاجة ملحّة إلى توثيق القضية السورية، وإعطائها مساحةً تحفظ قصتها في الذاكرة، وتنقلها إلى المنصات والفضاءات الدولية؛ في وقت بدأ فيه الناس يتعبون من الصمت الدولي تجاه ما عاناه الشعب السوري من ألم ودماء.

ومن هنا، التقت مساحتان مختلفتان: العمل الإنساني والفن، في شراكة جمعت الدكتور شادي ظاظا، رئيس منظمة رحمة حول العالم، والمخرج الأستاذ سام القاضي، لتقديم تجربة تتجاوز حدود مشروع واحد، وتفتح الطريق أمام أعمال وشراكات قادمة.

لكن الرؤية لا تتوقف عند ما تحقق اليوم؛ فهناك مشاريع جديدة قيد العمل، وطموح لأن تتطور هذه التجربة وتصبح نموذجًا يُنقل إلى الجيل الجديد في سوريا، من خلال التعلم والتدريب ونقل الخبرة.

فما نوثقه اليوم ليس مجرد لحظة عابرة…

إنه تاريخٌ يستحق أن نحفظه، ونروي قصته، وننقله إلى الأجيال القادمة.
