Equipping Vocational Training for New Opportunities

When skills reach the places that need them, new possibilities begin.

At the Al-Kawd Vocational Institute in Abyan Governorate, a newly equipped sewing and tailoring workshop is creating a stronger space for girls to gain practical skills and prepare for opportunities in work and income generation.

Through Rahma Worldwide for Relief and Development, your support has helped equip the workshop with 12 modern sewing machines, along with the tools, accessories, and essential supplies needed for training.

During the opening, Mr.Mahdi Mohammed Al-Hamed, Secretary-General of the Local Council of Abyan Governorate, and Engineer Mahdi Al-Juhaini, Director General of the Technical Education and Vocational Training Office in Abyan, highlighted the importance of strengthening vocational education and expanding opportunities for girls.

What you made possible is more than a better-equipped workshop. It is a place where skills can become opportunities, and opportunities can become a path forward.

ومن خلال رحمة حول العالم للإغاثة والتنمية، أسهم عطاؤكم في تجهيز المعمل بـ12 ماكينة خياطة حديثة، إلى جانب الأدوات والملحقات والمستلزمات الأساسية اللازمة للتدريب

وخلال الافتتاح، أكد أستاذ مهدي محمد الحامد، الأمين العام للمجلس المحلي بمحافظة أبين، والمهندس مهدي الجحيني، مدير عام مكتب التعليم الفني والتدريب المهني بمحافظة أبين، أهمية تعزيز التعليم الفني وتوسيع الفرص أمام الفتيات. 

ما أتاحه عطاؤكم أكبر من معملٍ أكثر تجهيزًا. إنها مساحةٌ تتحول فيها المهارات إلى فرص، والفرص إلى طريقٍ جديد للمستقبل.
