What does a food basket mean to a family that needs it today?

In Marib, Rahma Worldwide distributed 500 food baskets to 500 families, reaching approximately 3,000 people, with a focus on families facing the greatest need, including orphans, low-income families, and families struggling to make ends meet.

Behind the numbers are stories that statistics cannot capture: a mother carrying the weight of her household and children, and a family waiting for support to help them get through the demands of everyday life. That is why we came closer to the families we reached, listening to them share what it means to receive a helping hand at a time when they need it most. In their own words, the support brought relief, reassurance, and a sense that they were not facing these challenges alone. Because of everyone who contributed to this effort, 500 food baskets reached families who needed them, bringing meaningful support when it mattered most.

Sometimes, what reaches a family at the right moment can mean far more than what is inside the basket.

ماذا تعني سلة غذائية لأسرةٍ تحتاجها اليوم؟

في محافظة مأرب، وزّعت رحمة حول العالم 500 سلة غذائية على 500 أسرة، بما يعادل نحو 3,000 مستفيد، مستهدفةً الأسر الأشد حاجة، من الأيتام والفقراء والأسر المتعففة.

خلف الأرقام قصصٌ لا تظهر في الإحصاءات؛ أمٌّ تحمل همّ بيتها وأطفالها، وأسرةٌ تنتظر ما يعينها على تجاوز احتياجات يومها. لهذا اقتربنا من الأسر المستفيدة، لنسمع منها مباشرة ماذا يعني أن تصل إليها يد الخير في الوقت الذي تكون فيه الحاجة أشد. في كلماتهم، كانت المساعدة تخفيفًا، ومساندةً، وطمأنينةً وصلت في وقتها. وبفضل كل من ساهم في هذا العمل، وصلت 500 سلة إلى أسرٍ مستحقة، وحملت معها شيئًا من السند في يومها.

أحيانًا، ما يصل إلى البيت في الوقت المناسب يصنع فرقًا يتجاوز قيمة ما تحمله السلة.
