In the Khirbet al-Joz camps, Um Khaled shares the hardships she faces alongside her sick husband. They live in a tent that offers little protection from the winter cold or summer heat, after displacement forced them to leave their village and their home was destroyed.
After 14 years of displacement, Um Khaled and her husband continue to endure harsh living conditions, dreaming of a safe home where they can find stability, security, and dignity.
Um Khaled’s story reflects the struggles of many displaced families still waiting for the chance to build a better life, away from the harsh realities and dangers of living in tents.

في مخيمات خربة الجوز، تروي الحجة أم خالد معاناتها مع زوجها المريض، وهما يعيشان في خيمة لا تقيهما برد الشتاء ولا حرّ الصيف، بعد أن دمّر النزوح منزلهما وأجبرهما على ترك قريتهما.
بعد 14 عامًا من النزوح، لا تزال أم خالد وزوجها يواجهان ظروفًا معيشية قاسية، ويحلمان ببيت آمن يجمعهما ويوفّر لهما الاستقرار والكرامة.
قصة أم خالد تختصر معاناة عائلات كثيرة لا تزال تنتظر فرصة لحياة أفضل، بعيدًا عن قسوة الخيام ومخاطرها.
